I believe Bucaro Brothers is the greatest of all the auto repairs shops in Chicagoland! I consider their team to be the most trusted auto mechanics I've ever dealt with. I'm a loyal customer of about 3+ years and will never stray from them for as long as I live in Chicago. For example, my husband took his car to a random repair shop in Ravenswood for a minor repair (close proximity to our home/ Lawrence & Ashland). In addition to that repair, they said the car had just about no pads left on the breaks and that we need them replaced asap. For some reason we didn't believe that so we waited a week or two (didn't have the money for a break-job at that time). Then we took the car into Bucaro Brothers for a routine oil change (internet coupon at the time) and asked them to also check all the fluids as well as a check on the break pad situation. Indeed, the bad repair shop in Ravenswood was WRONG. Bucaro said there is only 40-50% wear and we should be fine for a while longer. This proves why I keep going back to Bucaro and should NEVER try somewhere different, even if the no-so-trusted shop is around the corner from us. I would much rather find a way to get our cars to Bucaro, which is 3+ miles away from our home! We actually had a car problem today and Bucaro came through yet again for us. We also had to use their towing guy; he was fast and much cheaper prices than the other towing crews out there. With the wonderful help of Okon, he made the car set-back as painless as possible today. Nice work guys! Keep up the superb customer service, honestly and remarkable reputation. And not to mention, they run a super clean shop; it's the CLEANEST I've ever seen! Sox fans too! Bucaro is #1 Woooo!

I went to Bucaro Brothers up until a year ago when I bought a new car. I'm almost wanting my warranty to run out because of the stellar service I got from Okon. I have never been to a mechanic that I trusted completely before him. I had a VW Passat and it had mostly minor things, but a couple major fixes and I never felt taken advantage of. Okon and the rest of the staff were always courteous and were very accomodating time-wise. When my Passat was totaled, I asked his advise on a new vehicle. He told me his choice and said "I may never see you again because it's such a well-running vehicle, but that's what I had my family member get". He was right, but as soon as it needs something that isn't covered, I'm going back.

I heard about Bucaro Brothers from a friend and decided to take my car to them for my 100,000 mile service & oil change. I also thought that I might need my struts replaced and mentioned this going in. They called me within an hour to explain all the things they recommended I take care of and their price. I was actually a little surprised when they said that I could probably go another year on my struts before having to worry about them. I was impressed with their honest assessment and got my car back the same day. I would recommend these guys to anyone!
